It is considered unethical to study starvation and there is no definite answer as to how long a person can survive without food as it varies person to person. But surviving without water is really tough. It is important to take effective measures to avoid dehydration. Plus, you are able to get some water from the food too!

When there is no food available, it is possible to survive on water consumption but without food in the body, there would be reactions as there would be loss of carbohydrates, muscle mass, and so much more. Some people go on strict diets that take the approach of hunger and fasting. However, it is important to look for signs of weakness in your body. Make sure you are keeping yourself fit and in healthy shape.

Mental Health

It is important to keep your mental health in check. Despite the fact that some people might appear mentally strong, it is important that they are mentally strong individuals too. For example, the current pandemic situation might be too overwhelming for some parents. They have to work from home and they can’t send their children to schools. Without any support, it would be tough for them to manage a normal routine that includes cooking, cleaning, and so much more! Hence, it might cause too much pressure.

  • All the members of the house should cooperate and don’t put just one person under the burden of cooking, cleaning, and taking care of everyone.
  • Everyone should cooperate and help.
  • Take extra care of the elderly and those with compromised immunity system.

Basic Essentials

Now there are many things that are essential for the survival of human beings. For example, it is important to keep an eye on your clothing according to the weather.

  • If it is too cold, you need to be warm. Hence, you would need warm clothes
  • If it is too hot, you have to wear clothes accordingly.
  • You have to be extra careful with the babies. Some babies rely on formula feeding and hence, it would be a must to have it available.
  • In the same way, babies need pampers and thus, it is possible to survive without it but it comes under the basic essentials.
  • The sanitary napkins for females for the menstruation cycle would be an essential item too.

It is important that you have the basic essentials with you! But at the same time, you have to remember that you have to e careful for everyone around you. It is important to care for everyone around you. Make sure you are taking the essential steps!
